We offer 4-month personalized healing programs based in our BIG Systems healing approach. We do not provide one-time visits. Each program is designed using functional medicine healing practices, supported by health coaching and a foundational healing framework that brings clarity, structure, and direction—so you can finally heal and sustain lasting change. 

Functional medicine has the aim of looking at the function of your BIG systems (Brain-Immune-Gut), to find out how best to support your HEALTH and healing. These personalized tests and treatments do not serve to label or diagnosis a dis-ease, but rather find out how best to support healing based on your individual results. 

Integrative medicine is taking both sides: traditional medicine and alternative medicine, and finding a path this best fits for you. It is not all or none with Dr. Anita. If your body is so inflamed she does use medicine on occasion, however, her goal is to use supplements, nutraceuticals, and lifestyle changes to help heal your body.

We do not accept or bill commercial insurance for our visits. Because we practice Functional Medicine and provide program-based care, we are considered out-of-network with insurance providers. 

A Different Model of Care

We practice Functional Medicine through structured, 4-month healing programs designed to create clarity, direction, and lasting change. Rather than fragmented visits or insurance-driven care, we work within a complete healing framework—where every step, recommendation, and test is part of a coordinated plan built around your outcomes.

Anita is board certified in primary care but she does not offer continued primary care services. She requires you have an active primary care provider to be seen. She does not follow annual wellness markers.

The Stechschulte Method is a proven program that focuses on the BIG systems: Brain-Immune-Gut. Most everyone will start with symptoms in one or even all of these areas. Through a comprehensive assessment she helps restore function in each of these areas. All chronic disease begins as a sign of inflammation. Fix the inflammation and you can help your body heal. Balancing each system is key to achieving real healing.

Yes, Dr. Anita can prescribe medication, if needed, and can order lab work as well. Once you are a patient, she can use your most recent bloodwork results and order additional testing to further investigate your symptoms.

We offer structured, 4-month Functional Medicine healing programs designed to bring clarity, direction, and lasting results. Care is delivered through a stepwise pathway, so you always know what comes next.

Achieve (4 Months)-Initial Program

Your foundational healing phase focuses on uncovering root causes, stabilizing systems, and creating a clear plan for healing. Includes personalized Functional Medicine care, health coaching, education, and a structured foundational healing framework.

Restore (Optional 4 Months)

For deeper healing and continued progress. This phase focuses on rebuilding energy, resilience, and long-term balance across GI, hormones, immune, and metabolic health. Includes ongoing provider guidance and health coaching support.

Thrive (Optional 4 Months)

For sustaining results and long-term stability. Focus is on keeping systems balanced and supporting continued health independence. Includes maintenance-level Functional Medicine support and coaching.

 Standard blood work is often covered by insurance. When appropriate, we may utilize insurance-based labs and code accordingly; however, coverage is ultimately determined by your individual insurance plan and cannot be guaranteed. In addition to standard testing, we use advanced Functional Medicine diagnostics to fully understand root causes. These specialized tests are not typically covered by insurance, as they are considered investigational or non-diagnostic under conventional guidelines, even though many are supported by current research.

To keep testing accessible, patients enrolled in our healing programs have access to discounted direct-pay lab pricing when needed. 

We have lots of people reach out to us for support who do not live in OHIO. However, due to license restrictions, Dr. Anita cannot practice across state lines at this time. She is not able to diagnosis, treat, order blood work, or medications across state lines. However, she does have a special health coaching program for those outside of Ohio which includes intense health coaching and access to personalize functional testing. During these sessions, Dr. Anita guides you through your functional testing and supports you with her supplemental protocols along with education on lifestyle changes to support healing. Most people exploring into a specific system do well with intense health coaching because finding the root cause does not mean you need a label or diagnosis. .
